Terms of Use for Rachel Mark Acupuncture & Wellness Inc.
Last Updated: April 14, 2026
Welcome to the website of Rachel Mark Acupuncture & Wellness Inc. (the “Clinic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use apply to your access to and use of this website, including all pages, booking links, forms, content, text, graphics, images, and other materials made available through it (collectively, the “Site”).
By using this Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this Site.
Separate Business Entity
This Site is owned and operated by Rachel Mark Acupuncture & Wellness Inc., a business entity separate from Rachel Mark Radiant Health and the rachelmark.ca website.
Any coaching, educational programs, digital products, courses, newsletters, or other non-clinical offerings made available through rachelmark.ca or Rachel Mark Radiant Health are separate from this acupuncture practice and are not governed by these Terms unless expressly stated.
Likewise, these Terms apply only to this Site and to the clinical acupuncture practice operated by Rachel Mark Acupuncture & Wellness Inc.
Clinical Practice and Regulatory Context
Rachel Mark provides regulated acupuncture services in British Columbia subject to the laws, standards, bylaws, and professional obligations applicable to registrants of the College of Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia and other applicable laws.
Nothing on this Site is intended to override, replace, or reduce any rights or obligations that apply within the regulated practitioner-patient relationship.
Informational Purposes Only
The content on this Site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.
Website content is not a substitute for individualized assessment, diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a qualified health professional. The information on this Site is not intended to establish a diagnosis or recommend a particular treatment for any specific person without an appropriate clinical assessment.
You should not disregard medical advice, delay seeking care, or start or stop treatment solely because of something you read on this Site.
If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or attend the nearest emergency department immediately.
No Practitioner-Patient Relationship Through Website Use Alone
Using this Site, sending a message through a website form, subscribing to a newsletter, or requesting information does notby itself create a practitioner-patient relationship.
A practitioner-patient relationship is formed only when Rachel Mark agrees to provide clinical services to you and appropriate intake, consent, and booking processes have been completed.
Bookings and Appointment Requests
This Site may allow you to request or schedule appointments through an online booking platform or linked third-party service.
Appointment availability shown online is subject to change until your booking is confirmed.
By booking an appointment, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for reviewing appointment details and contacting the clinic promptly if any information is incorrect.
Use of third-party booking software may also be subject to the third party’s own terms, privacy practices, and policies. We are not responsible for the operation, availability, or security of third-party platforms, although we may use them in the ordinary course of clinic operations.
Fees, Payment, Insurance Receipts, and Cancellation Policies
Fees for services are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated and may be updated from time to time without notice, subject to applicable law and professional requirements.
Payment is due at the time services are provided unless otherwise arranged.
If extended health benefits or insurance receipts are available, any receipt issued will reflect only the service actually provided. Nothing on this Site authorizes or permits the issuance of receipts for services not rendered.
If the practice has a cancellation, rescheduling, missed appointment, deposit, or late arrival policy, that policy forms part of these Terms once posted on this Site or otherwise communicated to you at the time of booking.
No Guarantee of Results
Clinical outcomes vary from person to person. We do not guarantee any specific result, improvement, or outcome from any service, recommendation, or information described on this Site.
Any discussion of common uses of acupuncture, treatment goals, or general patient experiences is informational only and should not be interpreted as a promise or guarantee.
Scope of Website Content
This Site may describe areas of practice focus such as women’s health, stress support, sleep, digestion, pain, or related concerns. Such descriptions are intended only to provide general information about the nature of services offered and should not be interpreted as a guarantee, certification of specialization, or claim of superiority over other practitioners.
